Joe Khalani is the Operations Director at Partners In Health (PIH) Malawi. He joined the organization in 2021 as a Pharmacy Supply Chain Manager and transitioned to his current executive role in January 2023. An accomplished pharmacist and supply chain professional, Joe possesses over 20 years of experience managing pharmaceutical supply chains within both the public and private sectors.

Joe’s extensive career in pharmaceutical operations is built on decades of diverse experience:

• Public and Private Sector Expertise: His background includes working in retail, hospital, and wholesale pharmacy environments.
• Leadership at Central Medical Stores Trust: Prior to joining PIH, Joe spent a combined 10 years with the Central Medical Stores Trust.
• Advanced Operational Roles: During his tenure at the Trust, he served as the Warehouse & Distribution Manager and subsequently as the Director of Pharmaceutical Operations.
