In a powerful display of community-centered care, Partners In Health (PIH) Malawi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, recently concluded a highly successful polio vaccination campaign in Neno District. Following the detection of poliovirus in Blantyre in January 2026, the initiative targeted children under 10 to prevent the spread of this paralyzing disease.
In the 2025 Fiscal Year, the PIH Malawi managed $250,000 for Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) medicines, achieving an impressive 97% average fill rate at PIH-supported facilities in Neno.
